A Walk Through History
Come one! Come all! On 3-4 May, 2008, Forest Glen Forest Preserve will host its second annual Timeline for reenactors of all eras!
Forest Glen Preserve is located near Westville, Illinois, about fifteen miles south of Danville, Illinois. Forest Glen is a beautiful site with a log cabin and a barn. The site staff loves reenactors, and the site has hosted events for War of American Independence, the SCA, Regia Anglorum,19th-century pioneer, American Civil War, Wild West and more. There will be period camping, modern camping and space for demonstrations & battle tacticals. The public is invited. Sutlers, crafters and other vendors of living-history goods are also welcome! If you, your unit or your group is interested in participating, drop me a line.

Directions:
From the north, take your best route to I-74. From I-74, take Route 1 (Georgetown Road) south to
Westville. At the third stoplight (CVS Pharmacy on the left (northeast) corner), turn left (east). Follow the
asphalt road (County Highway 5) for seven miles to the entrance of the park (on the left (north). In the park,
follow directions to the Pioneer Homestead.
