Late one night in March 2004 I heard a wierd sound outside coming
from the treetops so I grabbed my portable DAT and DIY PZM mics
and managed to get one clear recording of what I thought might be the
wind in something fluttery, or maybe a bird. Here's are MP3s of
the recording before and after
some noise reduction and amplification using Audacity. A friend from
the micbuilders list helped identify it and encouraged me to join the naturerecordists list.
